If you were a victim of a road traffic accident then you will probably be filing a compensation claim. But before you can do that, there are some things you need to know.  First of all, you must know the law.  The law states that you must meet two criteria before you are eligible to do this. 

The first one is that the accident must have caused you personal injury, like bodily injury of some sort. the second is that this accident was not caused by something that you did.  This means that the accident was not your fault. If you were partly or totally at fault, then you cannot file for compensation.  If you meet these criteria, then your next step would be to find a solicitor who works with the no win no fee agreement. 

This agreement, also called the Conditional Fee Agreement, will give you legal representation with no up-front cost to you. If your case is won, then the other party will be paying the fees to the solicitor and you will get your medical compensation.  You will be required to show proof that supports your claim to get the road traffic compensation.  This proof will show that you are not at fault and that your did sustain an injury or injuries because of it.
